I’m interested in the stories we carry about who we are, how those stories were formed, and what becomes possible when we begin to understand them differently.

The Way I Work

My skills and therapeutic style particularly resonate with creative, expressive, and introspective adults. You do not need to be an artist or even consider yourself particularly creative to work with me. The people who tend to connect with my approach are curious about themselves, open to exploring what may be happening beneath the surface, and interested in actively engaging in the process of therapy. They often want more than symptom relief; they want to understand themselves more deeply, recognize patterns, and discover new possibilities for how they move through their lives.

Before becoming a therapist, I was an artist, and that background continues to influence how I think, connect, and work. I value depth and meaningful exploration, but I also believe there can be room for humor, playfulness, and lightness in therapy. Healing doesn’t have to mean that every moment in the room feels heavy. I see therapy as a collaborative and creative process - one that makes space for the complexity of who you are while building on the strengths, insight, and resources you already bring with you.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and the belief that meaningful change often begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. I work primarily with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, which allow us to explore both what is happening now and the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be shaping how you move through the world. When it fits the person and the work, I may incorporate expressive and experiential interventions such as art, imagery, metaphor, storytelling, or elements of psychodrama. My work is also informed by attachment theory, polyvagal theory, and Jungian influences.
